Fermentation:

In stainless steel tanks. The fermentation temperature is maintained constant at 13 to 14 °C during the whole process, which had a duration of 15 days.

Ageing process:

 The wine is aged over its lees for 6 months.

Filtration Procedure:

The wine is stabilized and filtered in a sterile manner prior to bottling. 

Tasting notes

Our Altacima 4.090 Gewürztraminer has a pale yellow colour with greenish tones. To the nose it is very expressive and intensely aromatic with scents of rose petals, lychee, peach, lime and some spicy notes.
Within the mouth it is fruity with complex flavours such as lychee and a rich acidity that gives it freshness and persistence.
