Winemaking process:



The wine is fermented in stainless steel barrels with temperatures between 14º and 16º C.  The wine that is fermented in wooden barrels is maintained at 22º C.  Fermentation time: 25 days.

Ageing process:

 50% of the wine is aged in two and three year old French oak barrels for 6 months.  The remaining 50% of the wine is aged in stainless steel tanks.

Filtration Procedure:

The wine is stabilized and filtered in a sterile manner prior to bottling.

Tasting notes

 Our 2010 Altacima 6.330  Chardonnay has a  bright golden yellow colour.
Complex fruity aromas by way of apricot, pear, pineapple and banana   combined harmonically with touches of sweet spices such as vanilla and a toasty characteristic acquired from the oak ageing.
The palate is immersed in fruity flavours combined with   mineral notes and a pleasant acidity that simply beckons for the tasting to continue.
