Muddy and clayey, rich in volcanic ashes

Semi-arid Mediterranean

Ageing:

60% in French oak (Nevers/Vosges/Troncais) barrels (1/3 new, 2/3 second and third use) for 14 months, 40% in stainless steel vats at a lower temperature.

Colour:

Deep Ruby

Aroma:

Cassis, mora and cherries with some and vanilla all harmonically ensembled, giving the wine a big aromatic complexity.

Palate:

The same fruits as in the nose, very juicy with delicate toasted tones of barrels, full bodied, ripe and silky tannins. It lasts long in the palate with a distinctive elegance.

Recommendation:

Ready to drink, with the capacity to keep and age for several years at least until 2013.
